1.When installing color-coated steel plates, the mounting positions for light-reflecting panels shall be reserved in advance. The light-reflecting panels are then to be hoisted and secured to the roof structure. During the hoisting and installation process, bending of the panels must be avoided to prevent cracking or breakage.
2.The construction proceeds from the eaves towards the roof ridge. The ribs on both sides of the daylighting panel are directly fastened to the crests of the color-coated steel sheet, and the longitudinal lapping of the daylighting panel must be carried out over the roof trusses.
3.At the joint end of the light-reflecting panel, affix two strips of 2×20 mm butyl waterproof adhesive tape. For longitudinal joints of light-reflecting panels, a 250 mm end overlap shall be strictly ensured.
4.Before drilling the pilot holes, lay a 1.2m x 0.3m x 2cm wooden board and pre-drill the holes on it. The hole diameter should be 6-9mm larger than the screw diameter to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction.
5.After each wave peak guide hole, insert the dedicated EPDM waterproof gasket onto the self-tapping screw.
6. Use an electric drill to screw the self-tapping screws with EPDM gaskets into the purlins, and the installation of the skylight panels is completed.
